How patients find a dental clinic on Google, and how to show up
When someone searches "dentist near me" or "root canal in Kakkanad", Google shows a map with a few clinics and then a list of websites. Here is what decides whether your clinic is one of them.
Your Google Business Profile comes first
The map results come from Google Business Profiles. Claim yours, and fill in everything: the right category (Dentist, or Dental clinic), address, phone, timings, photos of the clinic, and the treatments you offer. Keep timings correct on holidays.
Reviews matter, and so do replies
Clinics with more recent reviews tend to rank higher and get more calls. Ask happy patients for a review at the end of treatment, and reply to every review, good or bad, politely and without patient details.
Same name, address and phone everywhere
Google cross-checks your details across your profile, your website and directories. Use exactly the same clinic name, address and phone number everywhere.
A website that says what you do, where
A clinic website helps Google understand which treatments you offer and where you are. It should have:
- your clinic name, full address and phone number in text, not only in an image;
- your timings;
- the treatments you offer, in the words patients use ("root canal", "braces", "teeth cleaning");
- your doctors, with their qualifications;
- a page title that includes your area, such as "Smile Dental, Kakkanad";
- a quick way to call or ask for an appointment from a phone.
Speed and phones
Most patients search on a phone. A site that loads slowly or is hard to tap loses them to the next clinic in the list.
How Cliniqe helps
Every Cliniqe clinic can publish a website that takes doctors, treatments and timings from the clinic software, includes your address and hours in a form Google reads, works well on phones, and takes appointment requests. Connect your own domain or use the free address.
